This shows what a VSD looks like (heart of the
right). Grant has a very large VSD,
his entire right ventrical is very small (about 1/8 the size of his left
ventrical),
therefore all his blood from the top 2 chamber flows into his larger Left
ventrical,
mixing the red and blue blood together giving him that "blueish" appearance.
